A licensed residential architect with over a decade of experience, Elizabeth “Lizi” Raar specializes in custom single-family residential design. Growing up in West Michigan and now based in San Francisco, California, she expertly guides complex projects from initial concept through to final construction. Her robust technical background includes deep proficiency in ArchiCAD and comprehensive design development.

Lizi leads the charge in redefining historical narratives within the architecture and construction fields by elevating underrepresented voices. Through her dedicated advocacy, she actively hopes to see women play a substantially more equal part in future architectural history.

As the insightful co-host and creator of the She Builds Podcast, Lizi shares her platform to uncover the untold stories of women who shaped our built environment.

Elizabeth believes that acknowledging our diverse past is the key to creating a more inclusive and inspiring professional landscape.
